¡Hola sombrero! started as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s cancellation of live shows and the tension and stress social distancing brings, creating an outlet and a space for music that is meant to be relaxing and non-intrusive yet interesting, ever-evolving, and rich. It takes a lighter tone musically and focuses on improvised psychedelic/kraut/ambient rock and electronic music streamed live online

It involves a wide variety of acoustic and electronic instruments - guitars, synthesizers, percussion, and custom Max/MSP patches created for other pieces and projects but adapted into this medium.
